Im currently cutting and have lost about 5 pound so far ive been dieting for 5 weeks but was ill for about 1 of them. Anyway my average micros on a training day are about 2937cal/327p/164c/125f. now this varies day to day but i aim for 300g of protein,150carbs and 100+ fat. I weigh 228 pound at between 20/25%bf.

Now my lifts are starting to drop just slightly but they are dropping. i also feel tired throughout the day. I am basing my carbs around training mostly but i think im going to boost them upto to 200g of carbs a day instead of 150 i think this will help. What do you guys think or would you suggest low carb???

Thanks in advance

Really depends man.

Some people can handle low carbs just fine. They have decent energy, and their strength levels are not too bad either.

If you find that your lifts are starting to struggle, and you have very little energy, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to add in some extra carbs. If that doesn't work, then try eating at maintaince for a week or two before going back to the diet.
