Hockey66 vs. Canadian Crippler

We we're both up around 200 lbs. but had some misfortunes and are now both hovering around 190 lbs. This journal is to see who can get up to 225 lbs. the fastest, the winner gets uber e-respect and bragging rights. We'll both be posting our sessions and updating our weight in this thread.

j/k lol good luck with 225! I actually have been trying to get up into the 210's-220's recently but my body is just fighting it... I end up putting on too much fat along with the muscle. So, I'm currently doing some cutting/recomp before I go for it.

Anyways, I digress... damn! a 225lb 15 year old. If only I could go back in time...

j/k lol good luck with 225! I actually have been trying to get up into the 210's-220's recently but my body is just fighting it... I end up putting on too much fat along with the muscle. So, I'm currently doing some cutting/recomp before I go for it.

LOL how do u think i feel? I'm shooting for 230 and i'm two years older than you. Anyways, back to the purpose of this thread, the race to 225. start eating children, u'll get there faster. good luck with ur goal, i'm sure both of u will have no problems reaching it.

~~ Yea buddy! The pins were set exactly at the bottom of the lift. I didn't quite touch them with this rep but it was close enough. Def. deeper than my last go at this weight.

Went with ILL_Mitch from WBB to meet up with getfit and ElPietro for today's workout. Not much else to say, except that Jeff dropped by and is looking lean as ****. I'm sure he grabbed a couple pinks before coming in and hit up some db curls and lateral raises just to get a pump though :D.

Petith, it sucks because the bar's are slanted outwards. Technically they should be as it's a mechanical advantage for most human bodies, but I'm used to straight ones. I'm sure you're the one who requested that things are your gym aren't straight though. Helps you feel right at home. :p

Are you kidding? Most do, they all vary how wide or if they are angled or not. Plus the bars are vary as to the how big they are. Generally, I find it's a crap shoot as to which ones I like or not.

The stupid gym has been closed the past 2 days for maintenance. Freakin' gay, it'll be closed on thanksgiving too. So we'll be doing tue+wed and fri+sat as upper/lower, then tuesday as a full body session.

~~ I like DB Shrugs a lot more. Wanted to try this though. Bar kept smashing my nuts, so I reached down deep and adjusted the bad boys up. Some lady saw me and looked disgusted.



Then some stretching, and that was that. Weak today, but good pump. Session was about 1 hour.

Hockey66 has to get his tonsils removed, and also got the flu.

I've been lifting just haven't updated. I likely won't post up any more sessions anymore, at least not for a few months. I find myself spending, well.... a bit too much time in my own journal whether it be reading, replying, posting sessions, formatting sessions, or looking back at my old sessions. I'll prob. start posting **** back up once I hit a big new PR and decide the world must know (405 dead, 365 squat, or something like that).

Strength is still a lost cause, though I got 85s for 4/4 on Walking DB Lunges just yesterday which is a PR. Today is upper, peace. And let this bury damnit!
