ive doing milk with my PWO shake. just wondering if milk is slow at digesting, or does it slow everything else down as well from digesting when present with other foods?
if the latter is true, does that mean i should be drinking a PWO shake with water instead?

Protein slows down digestion no matter what form it's in. You still want to include it in your PWO shake, though.

You're fine. The whey is fast-digesting, and the casein in the milk is slow, but there isn't as much.

Just make sure that one is skim milk. Any other time, butterfat is fine, but post-workout, the butterfat will slow the absorption a bit.
