I love these bars, but nobody at GNC can tell me what the difference is between them. So...anybody here know why one is called Meso and the other Nitro?

When I used either ones, I lost fat and made gains during workouts faster than without them. Loads of energy, for me at least.

I'm going to say one is a waste of money, and the other is a bigger waste of money. Bars are crap. If you want some, make your own.

I think protein bars are great when I'm too lazy to drag along a shake with me during school.

you can probably order from any of the big distributors ... netrition, dps, bulknutrition, nutraplanet. I also heard the new detour oatmeal bars are pretty decent.

Yeah, when I work out after school, instead of packing a shake and creatine, I just buy those protien bars with the 5g of creatine in them. I know it's not as good as a scoop of whey and some oats, but it's a lot less of a hassel.

I feel the same way about bars that I do fast food.

1) It tastes good
2) I only eat it when I'm on the go
3) It prevents catabolism
4) I wouldn't eat it more that 2-3 x Month

If I get in a situation where I need a bar on a regular basis I make my own. Having made my own bars I can say the bars you buy in a store are garbage.

margarine? are you kidding me?

I find this particulaly disgusting as well.

Johanna Budwig didn't realize it until about 5 years later but she invented Trans-Fat while inventing margarine. She invented a microscope later that allowed her to discoever the evil she unleashed.

Interesting story too about the *powers that be*. She was stripped of her medical license when she tried to inform the public about the dangers of trans-fat. 20 years later she was re-instated.

Moral of the story. Question every thing that dosen't come directly from a farm and even then question the methods involved.

Chlorine for example wasn't used in water until after WWII when the companies that developed chlorine gas needed to find new uses for their product.

I've tried them. I tried one and thought it was amazing, so I bought a box. After about 5 of them they got so gross.

Whoa...you guys MAKE your own bars? How is that done?

receipes?

I'd love to make my own, and save a bunch of money (much as I like the 'Tech bars, they do get old quick)

While I do think they are a waste of money, that doesn't mean I don't have one once and awhile. Got stuck at school last week from 7 in the morning to 10 at night. Wasn't expecting to stay at school. So I hit the store and got 2 protein bars for dinner. I'm just saying I wouldn't incorporate them into a normal scheduled diet, or depend on them. Most of them are loaded with sugar.

Meso tech helps you put on at least 10lbs of muscle in 1 week, while Nitro Tech helps you pack on more than 15lbs of muscle in 2 weeks.. both taste absolutely delicious and helps you burn fat too! Muscle tech products rawks..
