Been doing these for months now.

Need to make sure my form is good.

From what I understand you are to sit back on the box and for just a split second release your hip flexors. Then you power off the box and up. Is this correct or is it more of a touch and go process?

Yes, that's correct. Make sure when you release the hip flexors that the rest of your body stays tight.
