When you guys are bulking do you try to balance out your fats(omega 3 6 9)? Ive been trying to find a good article explaining about fats. The more i read the more confused i seem to get, can someone help me clear this up. From what ive read i you need to balance 3 and 6 in a 3 to 1 ratio but i couldnt find out y you do this. and does your percentage of omega 9 matter. also is it correct that omega 9 is monos and omega 3 and 6 is made up of polys?

I personally think ure reading to much into it. Keep your fats to 0.5g per lbm as a minimum and make sure they are healthy fats from olive oil, naturaly peanut butter etc. As i side note i take a omega 3-6-9 oil tablet a day but i havnt read into it like you are and unless ure training to be an expert and do it for a living i canot see the need to lknow the exact

im trying to do a lean bulk this time, just wondering what guys were doing for fats on lean bulks.

Most of us get plenty of 6 and 9 if we eat healthy fats as our choices. I supplement with 10g of fish oil daily to get in the omega 3.

On a bulk or a cut, I consistently have a daily tablespoon of cold pressed virgin Olive Oil (Omega 9), 2 tablespoons of Barleans Flax Oil (Omega 3) and 12 Fish Oil (Omega 3)caplets throughout the day. I lost 35 pounds on the cut without loosing any strength on any lifts. Currently I am bulking and have gone up 40 pounds in one month on my deadlift too. The right amount and types of fats are great to loose weight with in my experience.

why do you balance your omega 3 and 6? also are omega 9 mono fats?
