View Full Version : Resistant Startch

Was just reading an article which I thought was pretty good all in all. The author was speaking of a form of carb called "resistant startch" which is extremely low GI (20) and is released slowly, so would be beneficial overnight to regulate insulin and keep glycogen levels a bit more controlled.

Just wondering if anyone has heard of this or any thoughts or examples of foods in this range?

Here's the article if you're interested in reading it. The part about the startch is near the end.
