View Full Version : what should i do when cutting?

Im bulking for another month now then cutting my meals are morning 8am 5 wheatabix and toast meal 2 11am protein bar and cottage cheese meal 3 12:30 cheesy beans with a tin of tuna in and philidelphia on wholemeal bread, banana, apple, yoghurt meal 4 3:30pm protein shake with milk 2 eggs 2 tablespoons of pb 1 tablespoon of honey a banana and a scoop of whey powder 5pm creatine with water meal 5 6pm whatever my mum makes chicken breast etc then workout 10pm protein shake. What should i eat when cutting keep the fats and carbs down? run twice a week?

so i should just eat less eg protein powder with water not milk? i'm going to run twice a week and do sit ups and just do what I normaly do just eat a little less is this ok?

point by point
=eat fewer calories
=make sure youre protein is at least 1g/lb lean body mass
=make sure fats are at least 0.5g/lb lean body mass
=lift weights accordingly so you minimize muscle loss
=try not to lose more than 1-2 lb a week otherwise you might start losing muscle and\or have a yo yo effect

cardio is good on off days

use www.fitday.com to monitor your calories because believe me, you have no idea how much eveyrthing adds up even if youre eating cleanly
