Hi ive heard many times you should have atleast 1gram of protein per pound of body weight a day. Im 205lbs and ive only been doing it for the last week, just wondering what happens if you dont have enough will you still get bigger because ive been training for months and not doing this :( ?

For most BB, at least one gram of protein per pound LBM, and at least a half a gram of fat per pound LBM are pretty standard guidelines.
You'll find your own levels where you're comfortable. I like mine at about 1.5g protein, 0.7-0.8g fat.
If you're not getting bigger, you're not eating enough CALORIES. Those count above all.

I am definetly getting bigger i just want to know if im not wastin my time. I usually eat over 205grams of protein a day. But the thing is alot of it comes from protein shakes, is that ok ? but i still eat easily 6small meals a day..

Doesn't really matter where it comes from, doesn't matter that it's in 6 meals either.
How come you don't get protein from food? I'm a 130-lb chick, and I get in about 200g protein daily without shakes.

You want to mix up your foods d. You don't want to be eating the same exact things every single day.

Actually I find it helps to eat the exact same things every day, but for more normal people I would imagine sanity becomes an issue.
Just like built said, calories are what is most important. If your getting too few calories all the protein in the world isnt going to help. So count cals and make sure your getting that 200 grams. Trust me it gets easier.

Is there anything wrong with eating the same thing every day, except cheat days..?

As long as you get in all the good stuff, no.

Yeah as long as those same meals = balanced diet and all nutrients, its fine.
I prefer to have a small arsenal of meals to pick from, so it's not the same thing day in day out, but I don't have to waste time counting calories because I know the meal has the right basic ratios, and will fit in with the rest of the day.
