I'm 5'8.5" and 153lbs. My body fat is probably around 15%. I've been making good strength gains for the past few weeks, but I don't think I've been eating enough. I also don't think I've been eating the right kind of foods--so I really don't look that big. Should I continue bulking, or should I start cutting?

If you really don't think your that big yet, then why wouldn't you bulk?

If you dont feel comfortable with that bodyfat, then cut, if you do, keep bulking, especially because you're gaining strength. Simple eh? You answered your own question when you said 'but I dont look that big'.

I'm having the same problem...I'm at 14%-15% bodyfat, and not happy with the fat at all...but I only weight about 160lbs. so I don't really want to drop much more weight...i'm gonna try a slow bulk and hopefully i can drop my bodyfat a bit more during that...

can i do a little cardio say 15 mins 3 times a week while bulking? or would this not be a good idea. i feel like i'm putting on fat rather than mass.

You weigh 150lbs. Cutting should not be in your vocabulary.

Cardio will only make your bulking less effective. You're just burning off calories that could otherwise be used for muscle production. The best way to limit the ammount of fat you put on is to adjust your diet accordingly.

In your case, I would recommend a slow, controlled bulk. Know exactly what you want to put in your body and how much of it. Use www.fitday.com to track your diet. If you are gaining too much fat after a few weeks, drop a few hundred calories per day. Read the diet and nutrition forums.

Plus its almost winter, no better time to bulk.

Not to steal your thread, but right now I'm about 162lbs...14% bodyfat...my goal is to be 155-160 at like 5-6%...should i go with a slow clean bulk, then cut later, or should to cut to the % i want to be at, and then slowly bulk up...what would be the best way to achieve my goal? Can someone help me out a bit...? :)

At your %bf, and it being winter, my gut says slow, clean bulk.

If your serious about bodybuilding then 153 lbs at your height is nothing. Keep bulking
