i was thinking instead of using so much milk (im a cheap skate). In the morning i have porridge made with semi skimmed milk and a protien shake made with semi skimmed milk, could i just make the shake and use that with the oats instead of having two portions of milk?

That's what I'll be doing soon. Mixing skimmed milk or water with unflavoured whey in a shaker. Mixing that with porridge oats and some asparatime in a bowl and microwaving for a few minutes.

Dunno what it's like yet, but it sounds like a good idea to me. I've ordered the unflavoured whey.

Milk is fairly cheap anyway.

Yes you can what i did during my bulk was grind down my oats in the blender first then add everything else for the shake and bottoms up. this helpd me get my shakes up around the 1000 cal mark and makes sure ure getting ure fibre. I used 100g of oats in each shake
