does anyone know what best total to bodyweight ratio any powerlifter has scored was?

Wow, that's a good one. Ya got me there. Probably Gary Frank totalling 2500 pounds about 2 years ago. Has the 2700 mark been set already?? This question goes to show you how far out of the loop I've been lately on PL news. :help:

Yeah when you think about it I suppose powerlifter who lift the most may have the best chance at it. Even though they will weight more they don't weight like 375+ lbs usually do they?

It'd definitely be interesting.

i was looking around the web and i heard that Alexei Sivokon has done a 12.33 bw total in the 148 lb weight class which is supposedly lb for lb the strongest total ever.

Oleksandr Kutcher just totalled a 13.13 times bodyweight at 165 at the WPO meet in Finland.

Ed Coan has set the lb/lb records numerous times in different weight classes. He might not have it anymore, but he's definitely up there.
