Hello, GNC (in Canada) sells a product called 'Critimax', it's an appetite surpressent, from my experience it works well, however my question is this; could it have any effect on keeping one awake? I use a normal diet pill during the morning, and at night usually take 50mg of the Citrimax to reduge any pesky midnight cravings!

According to my experience HCA is one of the best supplements for fat loss and suppresing appetite, but in order for it to work you need to take it with high doses of 1200 mg's 4 times per day, which equals 2400 mg's of garcinia cambogia. When I take it I get shredded so fast that it's kind of scary. And it does not effect your nrvous system which is a plus because you can take it at night to eliminate any sugar cravings. Most people say that it doesn't do **** because they don't take it in high enough doses. And at 1200 mg's 4 times a day can get pretty expensive for some people. And sinse it does produce a stimilating effect there is no way possible that HCA (citrimax) could be keeping you awake.

johny walker-
Whatsup bro? Lemme get this straight.. so around 2.5g garcinia cambogia 4x per day.. and it gets you shredded so fast its almost scary? Interesting.. I have never heard it does anything at all. What do you mean so fast its scary? Like what kind of time-frame are you talking about? Also have you tried supplements like Xenadrine or Adipokinetix or a typical ECA stack? How does they compare to the garcinia cambogia?

:confused::confused:

Hey,
When i posted the thread i did so cause i use HCA only for apetite surpression, as far as i know, most 'diet pills' such as those mentioned have SOME HCA, but it's used to inhibit your cravings/diet/hunger, so how does HCA help you to really lose all that weight, i re-checked, and it's 500mg per pill, so i guess 2400mg isn't that bad, but how does it help you to loose the weight? thanks.

HCA has never suppressed my appetite. Ephedrine and Norephedrine do however. And i've tried HCA at big doses as well. I found it did absolutely nothing. I don't have the studies w/ me, but i remember reading that it was basically a hoax supplement. It did not show to really do anything at all.

Personally I wouln't reccomend it to many people because all people that I have spoken to think it's garbage and for some reason I am the only person that thinks it's an awesome supplement. It might work in 1 in a million people and I might be that one person it works on . :cool:
