View Full Version : Advice on what to eat?

Im wondering on how much calories i should eat a day, im trying to eat about 6000 cals a day but i dont know how to count the cals.
Today was an average day and i could of eaten more this is just a sample on what i eat.
So far today:

Breakfast:

1 actimel
1 Hazel Nut Yogurt
2 Slices of toast(white bread full fat butter)
1 Cup of tea(2 sugars 1 milk)
1 Banana and strawberry smoothie( 1 banana 5 strawberries and half a pint of milk making 1 pint.)

Brunch:

1 Tuna Sandwich
1 Hazel Nut yogurt
1 Snikers Bar
1 Glass of Water.

Lunch:

2 Cups of Tea
1 Glass of Milk
2 Sausage Sndwiches ( 4 pieces of white bread and 6 sausages)
1 Hazel Nut Yogurt.

Dinner:

1 Chicken Breast ( Chicken Kiev)
Plate of potatoes and vegetables.
4 Cups of Milk.

Desert:

2 Pieces of Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Now:

Bowl of Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes
1 Cup of tea.
2 Biscuits.

Thats about it so far today im just looking to bulk i dont care about cutting im cut enough.
Any advice on what to eat and what not to eat.

Any help much appreciated.

Not sure of my weight at the moment i dont have a scale im about 5"10.
I Know today i didnt eat that much but am i in the right direction.

OH Sorry about 170 just a few inches here and there and ill be happy, ive been mainly focusing on strenght but i havent been gaining much mass recently.

Why are you eating candy?
White bread blows, try wheat, rye, or whole grain.
1 glass of water? Try going for 8.
Try cottage cheese before bed.

I Posted it before in the powerlifting section im very happy with it but ive only started really getting into it.
I hope to gain about 8-10kg/ 17.6-22lbs by christmas.

No the apple pie was just today and whats so wrong with one candy bar i dont eat much junk.
Are candy bars counter productive to weight gain.

17 lbs... a lot of that would be fat. I don't think you'll be able to gain 17 lbs of muscle im that amount of time. Try a clean bluk... unless you're a ectomorph or w/e then I'd say you're fine.. chow down.

nothing wrong with having a candy bar once and awhile,but everyday, alot of artifical junk and unwanted sugar in your diet. I would rather have some natty pb with apple seems to be very popular amongst here :p

Yes born quite thin, how much lean muscle could i gain by christmas?

Try a pound a week. 2 if you're lucky. If you're and ectomorph you can probably gain noticable mass fast but all things take time.

So maybe about 7 Kilos by christmas or around that.

hey guys i pretty much completely new to the whole bodybuilding scene,and i am looking for pointers on what to eat and when to eat it. I weigh 185 and am about 6 to 8% body fat
