It's been a few months since I posted pics, so here's a couple of progress pictures. I started lurking on WBB in May 2005 after a couple months of "working out" (mostly doing arm stuff). After improving my routine, I started making some slow but sure progress. I posted some pictures in July right before a short bulk. For the last 3 months I've been on a slow cut (to get weight down for running/biking goals) but I'm still making newbie gains.

Still a lot more work to do, especially compared to most of you. Thanks for the inspiration and information that has continued to help me these last 6 months. Still striving for abs like Built's...

No one can match Gal's transformation -- but you can try.

This is true. To match it you'd need about 200mcg of t3 a day for the next 5 years.

Thanks! Y'all are too kind. I can't wait to get into bulk mode so I can start building some size but I wanna get my BF down a bit lower first. Having never seen abs in my entire life (I just turned 37) it's something I'm trying to do just to see if I can. I'm guessing my BF is around 12% right now but I have no idea and I don't think my Tanita scale is accurate (it says I'm about 14.5% BF).

gator: I'm taking Creatine and whey shakes.

bearwolfden: Oh hell yeah. Squats, DLs, SLDLs, and lunges are my favorites. My leg definition has improved greatly. Next time I take progress pics I'll take some leg shots.

So you CAN gain muscle and loose fat at the same time...

Impressive.. you went from a bit chubby and "normal" looking to pretty ripped and muscular in 6 months.. that's amazing!

I hope I can make a similar transformation.. but I'm only 140 lbs :(

A lot of the progress is admittedly due to "newbie gains" and some targeted weight loss plus a better tan, but WBB has been invaluable and I'm hoping that when I start the next bulk I'll see some really good gains.

BTW, here's what I looked like in January:

Yikes!! I can't believe I was actually that fat and out of shape.

"plus a better tan"

does a better tan really help with defination?
