Hey all,

I justed wanted to know if anyone has this issue.

I use my blender only to mix my shakes (i prefer chocolate shakes) and i include Lactaid milk and glutamine.

Unfortunately no matter how much I clean it and scrub it it always has a smell to it. I cannot describe it, but it just is not a good smell.

Does anyone else have this issue? Do yo uknow any cleaning solution to disinfect and get rid of odors and any undo residue.

Thanks.

my started to smell so bad I would gag everytime I smelled it. I washed it, scrubbed it, but it still didnt take it away. I dont know about your blender but mine comes apart and where the problem is right below where the blade is. Clean than and it will smell like new!

ah, haven't thought of that, soak it with warm water and baking soda for awhile and then rinse it out?

Getfit, you ever make the volcano with paper-mache in grade school? Vinegar and baking soda make a KILLER lava.

You guys actually clean your blenders. I just wash mine out with water. My body takes well to bacteria apparently.

Pinky keeps his blender in his bathroom. Now THAT can't be sanitary.

Fill your blender up with hot water about 3/4 full. Pour in two cap fulls of bleach and turn it on for about a minute. Turn it off and let it soak for a couple hours. Rinse it out with hot water when you're done and you will have a clean as new odorless blender.

Cheers.
