After training how long should you wait to eat?
Should you eat straight after?
Basically will i gain more more mass by eating straight after or waiting?

what i usually eat after i lift.Oats, eggs, 2bagels with cheese glass of milk

why not, it takes me 7 mins to walk home from the gym and i eat straight away

Eat as soon as you can. If you can't have a meal immediately it's not the end of the world, but try to bring something to snack on in the meantime.

Fully half my calories of the day are eaten over the three hours following my workout (protein shake before shower and then dinner a half hour to an hour after). Don't know if that's good or bad but it's what my timetable looks like out of neccessity.

I usually have my biggest meal of the day post-workout. I would say about half of my calories come in the two meals following my workout, at least on a cut.

why not, it takes me 7 mins to walk home from the gym and i eat straight away

i wish i lived that close to my gym =(

yeah i'm on a cut, however on workout days, majority of my nutrition is focused for the 3-4 hours before during and after my workout...

eat right after if you can or within an hour to an hour and a half i would say

Shock and Jorge, I do the same thing. I'm freaking HUNGRY after I train - I save food to eat then!

Formless, bring a dry whey shake with dextrose (and creatine, if you're using it) in it so you can pour in water, shake it up and knock it back after you train. I start sipping mine about halfway through my workout sometimes.

Eat solid food after you get in your shake.

I eat when I feel the hunger. But a protein shake wouldn't hurt ya, that's what I usually have right after a workout.

As Built and a few others have put it, I am also a ravaging hunger monster near the end and right after my workout. I immediately drink a 600 calorie protein shake after my workout and then about an hour later I eat at least a 1000 calorie solid meal.

who says you have to wait until after your workout? I drink a shake during and then eat after a workout.

You gain more mass by eating all the freakin time, not just at a certian time.
