Bent over BB rows 2x8 (IMO, won't need too many of these after doing deads)
Curls if I'm so inclined on the day, normally every other week.

close-grips, tricep ext, or skull crushers 3x8

Thanks for dropping by, current weight goals are to be at 190 (minus waterweight) by christmas (current weight 187lbs) and I'd like to get to about 230 before I cut. As far as lifts are going, they are in my sig.

I actually have to think about that..

Err.. On and off for about a 6 months, then an off period for about 9 months and I've come back about three months ago. So 9 months I guess, but for the last three months I've had a solid routine - diets been good and sleep has been fantastic.

Agreed. I also think your workout is well laid out. You're going to be making some very good gains I think.

Thoughts. My whole numbers game is off now, and I recorded in lbs in my journal (where as I think in kilos.). So from todays session on I have accurate numbers, with a weigh in of 191.25lbs :D. Other than that, excellent pump - bench was good with only having to reduce the weight on the last set, next session no drop.

Thanks, I hope to throw around some of the numbers you are one day. I used the moment of the jump up to my bar (Its about 8 feet high) to get to the top of the pull up/chin and do a slow ass negative.

Ehn, if you're still doing the work I wouldn't really call it cheating. Teaching your body working as a unit will prove to be more effective than "perfect" reps. Besides, I'd be lucky to jump that high. :p

Thanks guys, Its been so long since I had measured them so I got a nice surprise :)

Leg day today, have to do a bit of work with a caterer - just unloading webbers and bbqs from a few vans and flipping some sausages for a few hours, I think I can handle the extreme effort here for a few pennies :D

Okay, so why there was a stupid break. Firstly, after doing the catering thing for a quick $50 I went to a mates (Yes, I'm Australian - suck it up) pad before going to the local pub/club combo dealy. Anyway, I hit it off with a lovely brunette who proceeded to suck the tounge out of my head for a few hours (...:D) - When her ride came to pick her up she just left. Now thats cool, but atleast give me a phone number... So I was kinda bummed monday.

Risk Just noticed you really brought in the New Year!!! Those Calories should put the size on you. Lots of Complex Carbs and Protein help me gain if your not doing a lot of carbs try it 2-3 hours before and lots after a workout.

Andy - Life down under is pretty damn sweet, sheila's all abound. If your really lucky you'll either run over or shoot a few 'roos. And eat them to boot. I feel you on the dinner thing, most girls around here pay their own way.

As for the jump, I'm not sure of my verticle - They test it by simple calf jumps or partial movement?

yeah, at uni we tested it by jumping and touching a board (with chalk in hand) Relative to your height. I used to play bball at uni and could dunk it @ 6'1, dont know about these days, because im about 50lbs heavier lol

I thought I'd take some happy snaps of my verticle kick, I havn't trained explosively for such a long time I'm surprised I got a decent height. Flexibility is better, power is much higher. Pitty I move to damn fast for the camera.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! Its refreshing to have support in my adventures, even though I've been reeeeally slack lately :/.

Well, its Sunday.

Friday - Horrible nasty ugly obese slob decided she wanted a piece of Risk, I was sitting at a bar table and she comes over and starts resting her stomach on my leg - Thats horrible, just horrible. Now, I'm not superficial or anything of the sort, hell I LIKE imperfections - this was just overkill. I'm never going to hear the end of this from the guys either, lol.

Saturday - Ahhh, Adults only pool party at a theme park. This is the first time I've felt confident walking around with a shirt off! Of course I felt about three inches tall everytime I saw someone else who lifts the iron, but they were VERY far and few between. Out of 20,000 people I only saw 2-3 guys with alot of mass, a few guys with absurd six packs and rest was nothing special.. ANYWAY.

Rebecca - So I went on a few water slides and rides, killed about 2 hours or so before heading out too where the band was playing - or DJ depending on the timeslot. About three songs in I looked over at a cute girl, albiet a little cubby - but stunning face and lips, and got a touch of a smile. FF a few minutes we start just making out, then go for a walk and get a dry hump going on a nice soft piece of grass...... Anywhatwho, I go back to my locker and find the guys I came with absolutely pissed off at me because they all decided they wanted to go about an hour ago - and I was the only one that new the locker pin, heh, whoops. Anyway, funfu*ked night - and no reply to my message.

Sunday - I'm going to have a shower and go the **** out.

Abreviated session today, just did some running and two step wall jumps - Mild stretching.

Going out tomorrow, wooo. First date on Valentines day, its going to be about 37C out so I'm going to take her to the beach for some fish and chips in the evening. Should get a bit of nudie swim in.

On another note, I think I'll enjoy meeting her Dad here. Heh, at a grand total of 205lbs with boots.

Took Bec out to the coast, where we had a nice little dinner in the most booked out cafe on the strip. Kinda cool, I just asked if they had a table for two free - just after knocking back another punter - I got a table. Sweet. Went for a walk on the beach, sat down and watched the ships go by. Also back onto Creatine, I tottally wrote monohydrate off after a few weeks of 2-3grams. Upped to 8-10 grams, if I don't see a differance I'll assume I'm one of those non-reactors to it.

I used to think the same thing, but now I think it's one of the only supplements that actually do anything for me. Definately get at least 5grams/day and be consistent w. it and your training for at least 5 weeks - you'll probably find you're not a non-responder.

Good to see your getting the sqautting back on track, those numbers will bump up in no time.

About the creatine, personally i dont rate it. But if your going to using it be consistent over a long period of time with it. Results are never instant, if they were this game would be easy.

Thanks for all the support guys! I've neglected this journal badly, I've had the odd inspired workout here and there but I've recently become quite ill. There is a thread in Gen - Health if you need specifics, but its mostly just a log of what happened.

So I need to return.

I hit a PB of 50lbs x 10 x 3 DB incline presses today, I've never really done alot of these so its a good starting point. I am also weighing in at 170lbs, a minor set back for the time being - but I have dropped an assload of fat without too much muscle loss.


I'm doing alot of writing and research for a new routine, be it WSB or a BB routine - but I may be protein cycling during a predefined period sometime later this year, If i can justify the liver damage.

Risk out.
