OK, I understand alot of ppl dislike Muscletech (or like to poke fun of it) products.. Due to all the endless advertisements, truly expensive pricing and frankly, hard to believe claims..

Personally, the only MT product I ever tried (excluding the couple of Bars) was Cell Tech, and back than I wasn't even sure what the heck was I doing and didn't even use it the right way.

I was wondering, assuming there are very little of those negative stuff which turns you off which I stated above (and maybe others) regarding Muscletech products, what are your guys opinion of their quality? Meaning are they considered good, average, or slightly better than other company products? Cuz.. ahem, I kinda feel like giving Cell Tech a try.. and wanna see what you guys truly think about the brand's quality..

Buy some creatine monohydrate and some dextrose. I can't speak for the level of quality specifically for Cell Tech, but you're paying an awful lot for pretty cheap ingredients.

They aren't much worse than any other supp company. They all make rediculous claims.

Cell Tech and all "creatine transports" are probably the biggest waste of money anyone could make though. You are buying plain creatine powder, with sugar and artificial flavouring. That's it.

You could save probably about 70-80% buy just buying monohydrate, and dextrose or some other carb powder and mixing them yourself.

I'm all for trying new things and being objective, but not when the result is already known. Your test would be nothing but wasting money becuase the other posters are right.

Cell tech is:
- dextrose, various types of creatine,

- flavoring, and ALA (used to increase insulin sesnitivity, which is not necessary and could bought seperate...and really, it's R-ALA that does this effectively),

- taurine (Derived from methionine and cysteine metabolism...so your body has it anyway),

- betaine HCL (used in this instance to increase the concentration of acids in the stomach....again, not neccesary and could be done with lemon juice/vinegar),

-and L-glutamine alpha-ketoglutarate (which is absolutely pointless and actually impairs absorption of peptides)

So if you wanna try it, be my guest. But saving money and doing it the way the above posters suggested works just as well.

i used to use the protein from MT (forgot what its called) and their products are fine, just way overpriced...

It's hard to mess up a product as basic as creatine or protein. Muscletech's products are sound, they just charge you way more than they're worth. I guess you can think of it as a marketing strategy. Show people nifty ads with these fat guys that get hyooooooge in 6 weeks (w/o them mentioning that the guys in their ads use gear), and charge a high price to trick people into thinking expensive = better. It's just a mix of supplements you can get for a crapload cheaper and in much higher quantities.

muscle tech does charge a lot of $ for their products but personally i've only taken their protein bars (nitro-tech) and quite frankly no other protein bar (that i've heard of or seen) even comes close in good taste and g's of protein. s'mores... damn that stuff is so good. the strawberry cheesecake and the peanut butter chocolate are great too.

I like ProWhey protein bars. Check out the mint chocolate or peanut butter. 31g of protein, and more delicious than any candy bar I have ever tried.

Better yet, they sell them for $1.75 CAD at the store in my gym. :)

I used to take cell tech then I degraded to the regular pro-performance GNC creatine crap and that was true garbage. I drank that stuff and felt like **** for hours. I would go as far as to say that cell tech may be the best creatine product out there, but in no way is it worth the money. I stopped taking creatine now though, kind of lost it's affect after awhile.
