That was way too easy for a single. Watching myself in the mirror, I have more trouble with one rep of 315 (front squat of course) than you did with that. And I still managed 365x6.... SOOOooooo the moral of the story is, I bet you gotta 385x1 front squat in you.
That rep looked flawless, very good job. No sign of strugle, and I like the depth. Great job.
However, I do need to ask, how do you do that kind of weight with your arms crossed? I can't manage to keep my arms up when crossing them. I do oly style and it helps me stay positioned right so much better.

Killer squat Maki. How much do you back squat?
Completely agree with Jake, you've got a much bigger single in you. Depth was fantastic. Nice job, Maki.

Very nice front-squatting. I too am curious about what you can do on a back squat.

I just built up to it over a period of time. I noticed that my shoulder retractors were very weak and I kept straining them during Judo. So I decided to switch to front squats using this grip so I'd focus on static contractions at the scapula.
Now I'm fine.
I wish I could go heavier but I've sprained my left shoulder, so I'm pretty much useless right now.

Killer squat Maki. How much do you back squat?
The last time I went heavy on a back squat was about 11 months ago. I did a double box squat (well below parallel) with 410.
Bear in mind that I've been training my front squat quite religously for the last 10 months or so.

great job maki, nice and deep. Did you do anything to strengthen your shoulders? I feel discomfort with anything over 225.

Nice form you shot right back up.
Too easy for ya. Great job, awesome strength.

I know what you mean. My shoulders don't necessarily hurt when going over 225, but I have trouble locking them.

You've seriously outdone yourself this time, Maki.
You went really deep on that one. Very impressive.

Very nice. I'm training the front squat pretty hard right now as well, but am no where near 3pps for a single.

That was a great looking squat. I've been thinking about switching to front squats so I can hit a better depth. Do you feel that overall development is still pretty good? I'm not sure if its a good idea for me though, because my quads already overpower my hams/hips.

And just out of curiousity are you a fast runner?

I was 205 in that clip. I'm now 210.
In terms of sprinting, I'd like to think that I'm above average.

Now that's how you're supposed to squat.
Nice match beating that black belt too in your Judo clip.
Awesome job Maki.. Great arm & Shoulder strength to keep that weight up there... are you going to try more?
and I apologize, but what is your top ATF Squat? (I went thru your journal, but didn't see a recent one).. I'm asking only for comparison.. and what I should shoot for.

I did a box squat for a double below parallel with 410 a year ago or so.
