How long should it take to get here?!?! I received confirmation that the order was sent on the 2nd but still haven't gotten it! That's quite a long time isn't it!?

Canada can take some time to get to you, though that seems strangely long.

Can you pm Chris or send an email in to us through the contact form on AtLarge Nutrtion with your order number and we'll find out whats going on ASAP.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Daniel

Canadian orders can take an inordinate period of time to arrive unfortunately. You may want to check with your local customs to see if they are holding the shipment for any reason.

We do apologize for the delay.

Thanks for the quick replies you guys!

Chris should I still PM you my order number?

Do you have any idea how I would go about checking with customs if they have held it?

I live in nothern B.C. and I received my order in less than a week.

Good luck I guess. :)

Normally it takes 5-8 business days for my stuff to arrive and I'm on the east coast. However, I would expect that to be a bit longer due to the holiday season.

It's probably due to the holiday season.

I agree with Anthony, when I ordered a few weeks ago (just outside toronto) my shipment arrived in less than a week

Canadian orders are weird. I have seen them take less than a week and then I have seen them take 3 weeks.

The order number would not help because the shipping method we use is USPS Air Parcel and there is no tracking available. I can tell you for sure your order was sent.

If you don't get it soon we will look into replacing it or something of the like.

Well I guess I will just wait and hope it turns up!

chris mason

Well, we won't wait too much longer. If you don't have it within the next 4-5 days I will just send you a new batch at no cost.

Ok... I didn't get the package yet.. I am going to pick it up today.

I just got notice that it's being held at the post office because apparently I owe customs $10.36 for it. What on earth is that about!?

When you import items from other countries they tax you at the border.

Man... If I had known that I was going to be taxed for bringing it across I would have just walked to GNC and paid the same amount for their stuff

What did you buy? If you compare apples to apples, you're still getting a good deal.

I am sorry you were unaware of the fact you would have to pay duties.

As to your comment about GNC, if you ordered Nitrean, Opticen, or ETS you really cannot get a comparable product there (in terms of price on the proteins and ETS just isn't available there). Our proteins use a whey, casein, and egg mix which is FAR superior to any whey-only product for only a fraction more in cost.

You train hard, you should reward your body with the best protein supplementation available and you have done so with our products.

Not to mention Nitrean tastes better than anything at GNC. :p

Not too worry. I should have known that... I guess it's pretty obvious.

Also, I would like to say that I am very impressed with the level customer service you offer.

I know that the stuff at GNC isn't the best. But after the exchange rate (which isn't actually that bad), shipping and tax at customs I think it might be easier for me to try to find a decent replacement from GNC. I guess it will all come down to how your product compares. (I ordered creatine by the way)

Thanks again for the quick replies and friendly customer service!

They charged you $10 duty for a bottle of creatine? First, I pay $10-20 on orders that are around $100. Second, an order of less than $20 is exempt from border chargers.

I think the border screwed up.

I just got back from picking up the package... I guess $5 was for a "handling fee"

Those weenies!

Sorry about all the hassle and thanks for the compliment. When you next order go ahead and get some more stuff to make it worth it.

hey i am considering buying 3 containers of nitrean from atlarge only thing i am wondering about is the customs charges. How do you pay the customs fees. Just at the post office?

rookiebldr

In Ontario, yes, the posties will ask for the money.

It also depends on who ships the item. If it's a courier then they will ask you for the extra $$ at the door when they deliver it. I ran into the issue last year with something from the UK and I found out that the couriers seem to all charge their own 'service fees' when their customs brokers handle the package at the border. If you want to be throrough ask the vendor who their shipper is, contact the shipper and get their customs brokerage rates.

You're correct colin. I usually get called before hand by the courier telling me the cost and to have the dollars handy.

atlarge ships using usps air which im pretty sure is the cheapest from the states so hopefully it wont be too bad

I tend to order my nitrean 4 tubs at a time.
Not only do you save on shipping but the duties only have to be sorted out once in a while. :)
