so ive been reading about bulking and cutting and at first i was going to cut after the football season ended but it lasted a month longer then i expected because we went to state. now that time has been cut short i don't know if i have anough time to cut and then bulk up and gain a lot of strength because i am pretty weak.
the main thing i have been reading tho is to bulk until you feel you are too fat...well...i already think i am. but i don't think i have the time to sacrafice because right now my bench needs to increase about 15 pounds a month and my squat about 10. I don't know if it is possible.
the other thing i don't kno if it is possible is to bulk and eat all those calories and not gain excessive boddy fat while still making gains, especialy with the gains i need to make.
---6'2, 203---my bench is somewhere around 225-235 n my squat is probably around 370?? like i said the season only ended two weeks ago so i still have to get back into it

Well what are you lifting for, appearance or football?

If it's for aesthetics I would say cut if you think you are too fat.

If it's for football I would say bulk if you think you are too weak.

I can almost guarantee that you will not reach your bench and squat goals if you don't bulk.

You can be in a caloric surplus without gaining much bf if: 1) your genetics allow you to; and 2) you train intensely and heavy. If you are more concerned with gaining strength I would look into more of a powerlifting routine.

ya i am more interested in being strong for football so i am just going to bulk and i already have a powerlifting routine. but im am finding that i have a hard time eating even 3000 calories so i was thinking about buying a weight gainer with 800-1000 calories and take it once a day. would this be too large of a jump to make immideatly so that my gain in weight would be more muscle then fat?

today i actually ate maybe a little more then usual...
m1 2 eggs 2 egg whites, 2 pieces of cheese, 2 slices of ham (omelette)
m2 1 cup oats
m3 1 cup green beans
m4 tuna sandwhich (full can of tuna, mayo, cheese)
protein shake
nature valley yogurt gronola bar
m5 4.7 oz steak, 3/4 cup green beans, 4 oz potato
m6 4.7 oz steak 4 oz potato
protein shake
2615 calories
251.5 protein

its 845 right now so i may still eat so might be 3-400 calories more

You wanna get 20g of protein in at every meal to maintain an anabolic state during the day.

Come on be a man. You weight 200 lbs and cant eat 3000 cals? Im eating 4000 right now and im only 170 and im gonna be up in the 5000s when i reach 200. So eat like you mean it!!!!!!
