Hey everyone. I've been getting a lot of good tips about what I need to be doing to bulk, and taking in a lot of carbs was one of the suggestions. What are a few of the best foods for getting in a good amount of carbs? I imagine pastas and grains, but are there some that are more carb-dense than others?

Thanks!

I don't know if you can get them where you live, but dried sweet potatoes are delicious and high calorie. But you have to watch yourself, you can eat a whole bag anf get like 2,000 calories in like 30 minutes.

Of course actual sweet potatoes are great too, but they take a lot of time to cook, dried ones last a long time and you can eat them right out of the bag.

I hate sweet potatoes. But I could make the sacrifice to put on some much needed weight.

Any other good foods?

Don't eat them if you don't like them. (Althouth they're extremely yummy if you bake 'em, then salt 'em and put bbq sauce on them).

Oats? Pasta? Bread? Rice? Are you putting malt/dex into your whey shakes?

Grind oats into powder and then mask it in foods you eat normally.
In Oz: 1 Cup Oats (Ground) + 2 Cup 1% + 30g Whey + 1 Tbls PB = 850 cals, 85 carbs. Do that 3 times a day 2550cals, 255 carbs. Then eat 3 normal meals, you could hit 4000-5000 quite easily. Although, I've never eaten that much so I don't know how difficult it really is.

NiNJA edit: have you thought about making a HUGE ****in' shake that you down at like 3 am when you take a pee?

I keep snacks next to my bed for when I wake up in the night.

Snickers bar - it's peanuts, chocolate etc
Around 300kcal and you can eat it in a couple bites!

I don't know if a chocolate bar qualifies as 'best'... just easiest. :)
