Hello,
I have my Test E and Nolva on order and I am almost ready to start me first cycle. I was talking to a guy at the gym that is a regular user and he said that he often gets really depressed after each cycle. Is this normal or somewhat isolated?
Thanks for you help

Yeah, definitely one of the side effects of coming off.

The extent of it is very individual... coming off always sucks, though.

Any recommendations to prepare for it?

The depression from coming off should not (IMO) try to be addressed with MORE meds. Those meds are prescribed for clinically depressed individuals, not people who are sad that they are getting weaker. If it's that big of a concern stay away from drugs your not ready for.
Personally I handle post cycle depression with eating right, training, focusing on other goals and not being a little bitch. Havent killed myself yet.

It might sound simple but I always start going tanning when I'm coming off. Besides what the studies have shown about sunlight having a positive effect on mindset, your body looks better tan, so it kinda helps when coming off because you look better.

or u can take clomid during a cycle and keep ur test levels up while on . and coincidenatly u wont hit that catobolic phase of acyclr .e.g. coming off take 100 mg a day during your last three weeks and 3 weeks after also. i did and the depression was much less while i came off this time. it really works man.i had no transition this time nice and smooth comeoff.

Clomid during a cycle will not prevent the shutdown of endogenous test. If it made recovery easier for you then awesome but unless you have studies to back up those eroneous claims then they are just that. That's just not how the body works.
There are lots of little things that can help reduce the feelings of depression while coming off, but there is no foolproof way for everyone.
just be prepared for it. you're going to lose a little bit of strength and size. keep training hard, eating a lot, and getting plenty of sleep. its really not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. basically i feel lethargic for a couple of weeks then i'm back to normal. listen to smalls, don't be a little bitch and you'll be just fine.
