I just recently found out what this was. But how does it benefit you?

haha its a pretty complex process, but basically it preferentially replenishes muscle glycogen, while sucrose preferentially replenishes liver glycogen. It also spikes your insulin production, making it easier to "shuttle" nutrients to your muscles. Anyone else have anything to add or correct me if im wrong, but i think those are the main things.

Sucrose is half glucose, half fructose. Fructose is the sugar that preferentially goes toward refilling liver glycogen stores.
