I had my creatine/protein shake everymorning before school.(I have a weightlifting class at like11:00) I also worked out in the afternoons after school, but I havent seen any major results. Its been a couple of months and my bench has only gone up like 20 pounds. What am I doing wrong?

Eat more.

www.fitday.com

Enter how many calories you're getting a day.

If you're not gaining weight then you're not getting enough calories. Simple as.

Protein shakes/creatine aren't miracle powders... they're supplements to go on top of a good diet.

Also a 20lb increase in a couple of months isn't bad.

Also, are you working out twice a day?

Yes, Im working out twice a day. We only lift for like 30 minutes at school. I spend like an hour and a half in the gym but 30 minutes of that is running/biking/whatever I feel like doing.

I am eating about 2500 calories a day.
Im trying to build up muscle, but Im not looking to be massive.

You won't get massive overnight.. it takes years of hard training and religious dieting.

What are your current stats? Height, weight, body fat?

6'1

like 15-17% bodyfat.

So what exactly are your goals?

You're not big but your body fat is reasonably high.

If you want to get bigger you need more than 2500kcal a day. I bulk on 4000 and some guys here are pushing 6000 I think. Like I said, it wont happen overnight.

You do know that you get protein from food too, right? Just drinking a powdered version of it doesn't automatically make you gain weight. You need to be in a caloric excess.

If I were to guess what you did wrong, you either had a bad diet, bad routine, or both.

Just noticed you said in the other forum that you want to slim down.

Follow my instructions in that thread! :D

Is that the only thing you have before your 11am class?
