hey guys i was just wondering if you guys accounted for the calories in the marinade you use to soak the meat in, or was it not necessary because you cant really tell?

at least the way i do it, about half of the marinade ends up on my plate, so i just divide in 2.

Well, I guess you could measure the marinade before and after the meat is placed in it and then calculate how many calories were absorbed. The only problem with that is that if the marinade contains ingredients with different absorption properties (like oil and vinegar), then your calculations will be off (for example, if a lot of vinegar was absorbed, but very little oil).

If I'm trying to keep it clean, I won't use any mariandes. If I'm bulking, I'll drink the ****ing bottle just to be sure.
