Some of those missed benches looked like how I saw people get murdered in a prison movie (can't remember which one).

That was freaking insane.

That sucks. First Mike Mille rblows out his left knee, then he blows out his right.

The spotters on those bench misses need to be beaten down.

I like the dude trying to get into his denim shirt. lol.

I don't really get what a spotter on a bench is going to do if it's 500 lbs and the weight drops out of his hands i don't anyone can catch it mid way down. and stop it from landing on his chest.

This has probably only been posted 15-20 times. At least this is the director's cut version, with more ouchiness to go around.

The two spotters on the bench are supposed to hold their hands under the plates (no the bar) so if the bar falls, they're right there to catch it. I've seen guys miss 600lbs and the spotters are right there to catch it. That's their job.

What I would like to see a video on how a proper spot on heavy weight like that should look like.

If anyone can please post this to thread I would surely appreciate it.

Thank you very much,

Nico

You mean Lockdown.

It occurs in Stallone's "Lock Up", and likely others. I haven't seen "Lockdown".

Yeah. That is why I have four fingers going up and my thumb going down on Bench Press.
