View Full Version : Timing for post workout shake

Due to my busy schedule I can hardly find the time to do cardio seperately with weights so right now I'm doing cardio immediately after pumping the iron.

My question is, for the post workout shake, should I drink it after the weights than proceed with the cardio, or should I only drink it after I'm done with BOTH weights and cardio? Or is there even a better strategy?

Please enlighten thanks..

I sip it during.

If I'm cutting, I skip the shake entirely - I'd prefer to save those cals for chewing.

Doubt it even matters much. Try all methods and see how you feel about 'em.

I sip on mine for my preworkout and eat solid food afterwards.
