On my diet plan I have a certain amount i need to eat ( just like everyone else ) what if I miss a meal during the day is it smart to add that to my later meal or just consider it lost?

Thats the reason everybody says 4-6 meals or 5-8 meals. I wouldn't consider it a lost, I would add extra cals to the next few meals.

I do this on purpose because I'm hungrier at night. I don't mind eating a little leaner in the daytime if it means I can overeat a bit at night, after I train.

You've answered my question too then. I usually have no trouble eating 1500 to 2000 cal at dinner :burger: but for the life of me I'm struggling to get more than 1000 in breakfast and some days I'm lucky to get 200 for breakfast. I don't want to get bigger bad enough to force feed myself and occasionaly vomit. I still seem to be able to do a slow bulk with such a crappy diet. :D
