I did a search and found that i can get away with a 1:1 carb to protein ratio post work out. (i know 2:1 is better but i'm cutting and can't really afford the calories right now). So if my PWO shake is 22 grams or protein how many teaspoons (level or rounded?) of dextrose is that?

I'm a po' university student and can't afford a scale so some help would be greatly appreciated.

if you are doing 1:1 then just use the exact same scoop you are using in protein

it's a dose based on weight not volume. Just as a scoop of marshmellow would not equal a scoop of chickpeas or a teaspoon of lead =/= a teaspoon of feathers.

just match it carb wise.. look at the label

didn't come with one. But i figured it out by going to a brew website. Each teaspoon is 3.4 grams and each gram has 3.4 calories.

I had it as a PWO shake with chocolate whey two eggbeater "eggs" and a bit of granola for crunch and could barely get it down as it was so damn sweet.... i have a sweet tooth usually and was looking forward to this aspect of the shake but oh man...

Anyone have any suggestions as how to neutralize the sweetness a bit?

Mix it 50/50 with maltodextrin, malto is not sweet at all.
