Morning shake
1 scoop of chocolate protein (around 20g of protein)
2 table spoons of peanut butter
1 table spoon of olive oil

Lunch
Not going to drink a shake during this time, as i eat a chicken wrap for protein, and drink a smoothie for carbs.


After a workout (within 30 minutes)
1 scoop of chocolate protein (around 20g of protein)
1 teaspoon of creatine monohydrate
1 teaspoon of glutamine
And Glucose as soon as i get some.

Mixing with milk ok? I hate it mixed with water.

Um ... why fat and not carbs in the post workout shake, and why the glutamine?

I just heart glut was good. But what could i add in the shake for postworkout with carbs?

PWO Shake....Whey Protein, Creatine, & some dextrose (high GI). I usually mix my creatine and dex together...then down my whey protein w/skim milk . You'll prolly wanna leave out the fats in the PWO b/c you dont want to slow down your body's ability to absorb. Your dextrose will provide your pwo fast acting carbs. I've always stuck to a 2:1 carb:protein ratio for my pwo.

Ok, i'll take the olive oil out the pwo shake. But dextros, where can i get that?

Olive oil and natty pb out of pwo....

I ordered my dextrose from bulk nutrition. Came in 2lb bags...purchased 5 bags and it was enough to last me for months. Each bag was only $2. Pretty much like making your own Cell tech when adding this stuff to your regular (less expensive) ALN or other brand creatine.

Milk's fine for the post workout shake, just use skim for that one. Fats at any other time is fine.

Milk is also a souce for glutamine. I always pondered buying a glutamine supp...but figured since I was bulking I'd just sub skim milk for my water in all my shakes, and use milk as my source for glutamine while bulking.

Just something to think about and maybe save a little money for a while unless your cutting.

Wild Cat...I purchased (5) 2 lb bags giving me a total of 10lbs of dex to clarify.

water would be best PWO, skim would be okay...go with skim...2% still has a lot of fat that could slow down the absorption process...

why don't u just put water, protein, and dex all into a bottle shake it up and down it? thats what i do and it is probably the most ideal...

That's ideally one of the best things to sip throughout your workout. Water, whey, and some dex.

I initially tried mixing my creatine, dex, and whey all together post workout but came out with a chocolate covered cherry/orange. I just couldnt handle the taste. Especially when mixed with skim milk. Water wasnt as bad...but I still liked the creatine/water/dex...then whey/skim milk immediately following workout. Everybody's different...just get them in some way.

if you just make it a pre-workout shake, you don't need to worry so much about super-quick absorbtion. not everyone likes to workout with something on their stomach, so that might not be an option.

Ok, im going to pick up some skim milk. And order some dex one day. So preworkout can be like skim, whey, peanut butter, olive oil? and post should be creatine, water, dex? or what

This is an awesome shake from Abs Book....

Makes two 8oz. Servings
1 Cup skim milk
2 Tbsp Low-Fat Vanilla Yogurt
3/4 Cup (Nuked in water) Arrowhead Mills Steel Cut Oats
2 Tsp Natural Peanut Butter
2 Tsp Whey Protein

find a home brew store in your area.

I picked up 50lbs for $38. enough to last a long time- and I go thru the stuff.
