For those guys that are lifting for a sport out there a great book written by an alumni form my school is Functional Training for sports by Miachael Boyl. This is a grat book for any sport, its a training method that focuses on strength you can actually use on you field/court etc. Its an easy read with few technical terms. There are also many sample rountines. The book doesnt only have lifting techniques but has plyometrics and flexibilty as well as warm ups. Great for all you high school lifters out there, i made a routine for my younger brother based on this method. If you pick it up let me know what you think
