When I grind my oats in the blender, I should just base the nutritional values off of weight, right?

dude, don't make it complicated. If you put 1 c. of oats and grind them up, you still have a cup of oats. if you are planning to gring a bunch up at once. I would reccomened doing this:
Grind 1/2 c oats and then once ground, remeasure and see what it comes to, do with with 1c. and so on.

I'm not trying to make it complicated at all. I was asking because I want to grind a whole tub up at once.
I'll weigh 1 cup unground, then grind them and see what the difference in weight is.

Yeah, lol, the weight won't change but obviously the definition of a "cup" will change when the volume decreases.
I'd go by weight anyway because I dont think "cup" is reliable.

A pound of bricks and a pound of feathers, which will hit the ground first?
Like they said, it will be the same amount of weight just different volume.
