So Iíve been thinking of starting a bulking cycle for the last month. I was going to start it 2 weeks ago but there was a death in the family and I had to go to NY. But I finally started and I would like some input on my diet. Below is a link to my journal on Fitday.

cool sorry 'bout that. Those #'s look a lot better, i see that you ate more on your day off, can I ask why? All the macro's look good. Just wondering what your maint cals are?

Last thought: are those bk chicken fries any good i heard they suck.

I was planning on eating about the same amount of cals on my day off as I did the previous day. I didn't realize how many cals the whopper and chicken fries were. It wasn't until later when I looked up the nutritional fact that I got that surprise. On my off days my maint cals is 3172, on my workout day its 3434. Should I plan to try and adjust my cal intake depending if I’m lifting that day or not?

Oh.... and yeah the bk chicken fries aren't Ace's in my book... Seemed like a good concept but the onion rings are better.

i eat the same amount of cals on days of or workout days. On a bulk I would eat the same amount of cals everyday. While your body is resting its still a good idea to give it enought nutrients.

On a cut is a different story, but your bulking so who cares.

Eating the same amount everyday usually works good.
You can get away with eating fewer on off days because your out put ratio burned should be lower. Wouldn't let it differ more than 200 though.

You guys are awesome. My goal is to be anywhere between 3200-4000 so i'll just try to get it between there no matter the day.

Yeah, like I said the macro's (fat, CHO, PRO) look good. For bulking most like 1.5g/lb of lbm. So thats around 270g of protein. I personally feel thats too much, but others will disagree. If you want to take in that much protein then yes your eating to many CHO's. Fat looks good on your normal day w/ out the BK.

and micro's are minerals, vitamins, and water, things that you can't break down for energy
