I can barely eat 2000 calories a day, and I stopped gaining weight so I have to eat more. I kind of feel sick/bloated all the time too, so my stomach isn't getting used to all the food. Unless that kind of feeling is normal when bulking. Any ideas? Thanks.

Fat is your friend. Add olive oil to everything.

That being said, how in the hell can you barely eat 2k? I can do that in one meal.

Its just like weights, you slowly progress in amounts you can handle. Don't give up, youll get use to it trust me I use to not even be able to eat enough cals to CUT, now I can exceed maintenance at ease. Don't listen to those ego maniacs thinking their cool cus 2000 to them is nothing, for some, that is a lot of food. Just keep at it.

After you've been at it for a while you will always be hungry. Just pack the food in until you feel like you're gonna puke, then after a couple of weeks you'll be downing 3500+cals without even thinking about it.

Make you sure you spread out your meals throughout the day - you don't need to gorge yourself at each sitting (that'll come later). Six meals per day @ 500 cals per meal = 3000 cals.

I was like that when I first signed up.

It goes away.

Oh, how you'll miss the days of feeling bloated on 2000 calories. Enjoy them while you can.

Quickly digesting carbs that spike blood sugar would make you hungry.

A secret weapon of mine when carb loading is to drink peppermint tea. This stimulates the production of bile, aiding digestion and stimulating appetite.

Take 2 teaspoons of Psyllium fiber nightly.

theres always the option of smoking some pot before eating...and increase your appetite that way?

but for a non-illegal way, your just gonna have to suck it up and shove those cals down your mouth...

Are you serious? This is an N=1 for me, but last night I drank peppermint tea about 3 hrs b4 bed, and by the time I hit the sack, I was absolutly ravenous. In fact, I had to get up and have a salad to satisfy.

Absolutely. I mainly use it as relief from the roiling stomach that comes from stuffing myself with carbs, and as I'm eating lots of carbs and spiking blood sugar it's hard to tell how much it contributes to appetite, but the thing about bile production seems to be a well established fact.

Ah, I used to have this problem. I was around 2000 calories a day. Id feel sick every meal I ate too, and I ate like 5 times throughout the day.

The only way to really do it is to just start eating more, and eat a lot. As for a boost, you could try injectable vitamin B12.

I did it for 2 weeks, at 1000mcg per injection, once a day. This made me hungry all the time, after about 4 days or so. It allowed me to really stuff myself, and after I got off of it, my appetite stayed up there. Now, I get 4000-5000 cals a day.

Not even close. Those injections are commonly used for hormonal imbalances, namely in cases where the patient has hypothyroidism. I have heard (don't really need to stimulate my appetite) that after the B12 injection you will not feel much difference, if any, on the day you take it, but the day after your energy level and appetite will be greatly increased.
