So here is a 3rd installment of my workout journal. I have problems keeping with the gym thing, and my mom has never been to the gym in her life, so now she and I go together and workout with trainers 2x a week. This journal will keep track of my workouts only (hers is different and a lot lighter), and my other physical exercises. Because of time conflicts I have to quit bellydancing for a few months, but Iím still riding horses and doing tae kwon do

Tuesday (2/14)
Warm-up
Deadlift 10x3 14lbs
Hyper 10x4
Bench press 10x4 45lbs
Row 10x4 60lbs
Pull over 10x3 15lbs
Sit ups 15x3
Somewhere in there were 2x10min various intensity stationary bike/treadmill sessions

Wed (2/15)
Rode 1 horse for 20minutes (walk/trot/canter)
Didnít go to TKD because of a migraine

Hi guys, long time no see, I'm glad you still remeber me :P
Fenrir- I have so many because I get off the wagon and get lost, and when I start up again I have to start a new one.

good question, I just tried it for the first time that day, and I forgot to ask my trainer what it was. I will ask next time I go to the gym.

Friday:
TKD sparring 1.5hrs. I love sparring because it's fun, but I'm always dissapointed since the boys always take it easy on me. On the other hand though it boosts my confidence "feeling" like i'm getting better. oh and I didn't get too many bruises either.

Saturday:
I went to police practice ability test, and it made me realize how weak I really am. I had a really hard time dragging a 140lbs dummy and pulling the trigger with my left hand. I bought one of those handgrip sqeezers in hopes that I can maybe pull the trigger with my left hand next week. Wish me luck for next week

all that intermingled with 2minx3 on treadmill

Diet is horrible, but I'll have to figure it out later

1hr TKD - we did a lot of falling, rolling and kicking, then my master decided to top it off with 5dif versionsx10 of pushups (twisting, dipping, reverse, etc....) I felt it in my arms and my abs, so it was good. He seemed to forget about us, so we did full 15min of jogging before started (although I'm sure it was intentional). And after class I spent another 20minutes wrestling

SHEESH you and your sick, twisted obsession with legs. Don't listen to her. She's crazy as a loon. Work back only ya hear me back is king.:p

Hey! Legs are important.

Today was TKD sparring night. It was good, but I didn't really feel "it" today. I did lucklaster (sp?) sparring, and couldn't get a good kick out. On top of that either I pulled something (or hit it) in my right leg. I'm not good with anatomy, but I'll try to explain. It feels like a muscle that is on the outside between the shin and calf. Is there even a specific muscle there or is that calf? Anyways it hurts to walk. Yey for getting hurt in sparring

thanks, I feel all better now. I didn't pull anything, just bruised it.

Lazy today, didn't do anything

Sunday I'm teaching 7 lessons, so there will be a lot of walking, and I know I won't have enough energy to do anything but go to sleep when I come home.

Beats me. That's what my paper from the trainer says. I suppose I better ask him tomorrow.

Monday (6/6)
TKD. It was a good class, we went over all the forms, then all the one step sparrings too. Then to top it off we did a lot of running, kicking and jumping for 10min straight. 30 situps, 30 pushups.

FM rotation 12x3(35) (I remember what it is now. Pull the cable from one side to another across the body)

Situps with 5lbs ball 30
5min elliptical

The whole thing felt really hard even though there hasnít been a weight increase.

I guess that FM thing is kind of like a rotator cuff exercise then.

Hey guys! Sorry I've been slacking on updating this thing, but in last week was crazy busy. In anyevent I don't have my paper with me right now, but I can tell you that last week on:
Monday: Rode a horse for half hour
Tuesday: Gym, and my legs were super sore.
Wed: nothing
Thurs: didn't go to the gym or worked out, but I did work on my baby with a trainer. By the way my baby is now 650lbs as 9months old. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/askanni/P2120056.jpg
Fri: Worked with trainer and the baby again in the monring. At night I went to TKD, but wasn't feeling it at all, so about 10minutes into sparing I've hurt my leg and couldn't walk for the rest of the day, but it's ok now.
Sat: nothing
Sunday: I was teaching lessons from 9am to 5pm, so I did nothing but walk all day long, I think that should count as something :angel:

The week before that I did go to the gym on thursday, and TKD on friday.

This week is already going bad, as far as working out is going, and on top of that I'm coming down with a cold.
Monday and Tuesday I didn't go to TKD or gym (trainer out of town). I wanted to go ride last night, but it was storing and hailing and since I've already rode a horse last week in a big storm and nothing happened (she was very calm) I didn't want to push my luck. Maybe tonight I'll go up and work with the baby

Anyways tons of excuses for not working out, but hopefull it will get better towards the end of the week.

Thanks GetFit, he’s getting really bratty now, I guess he figured out where my weak spots are :P Thank god for a great trainer I have that is helping me work on these issues.

Well since I’ve been ignoring my journal here is the update for the week:
Monday: TKD
30pushups, 30situps, lot of kicking and jumping and running, plus in the end he made me and another girl push one of those water filled punching bags across the room, mine was bigger than the other girls, and I beat her. Yey me!

Tuesday: Gym
Squat 12x4 (45, 50, 50)
RDL 10x4(10)
DB bench press 10x4 (20)
Inverted Push-up 10x4
Tri ext. 15x3 (20)
Chin ups 10x4 (65)
10min treadmill

Wednesday: TKD
Same as Monday but instead of kicking and jumping, we did falling and kicking, and wrestling. The crouching spin kick was hard to do, and now I can hardly walk, all my upper leg muscles are aching. Good stuff.

Thursday: nothing, stayed home and cleaned…….

Friday: TKD sparring night, I think I’m more in the mood today, so maybe I won’t hurt myself again. We’ll see

Friday night in TKD, I wasn't too much into it, and so I did horrible. I don't know what is going on with me, but I haven't been into it lately, and as a result get hurt

Saturday: SO FUN!
I went to ride with a new horse trainer/instructor, because I need to improve my riding and move up in the levels, so anyways it was such a good session. There is deffinately a big difference between our child friendly horses and his high level/highly trained horses. Instead of worried about the horse, I got to work on my position and perfecting the timing of my cues/aids. The lesson was supposed to be 45min, but he worked with me for over an hour, and said my seat is pretty good. So now my legs and my butt is so sore I can't sit. I haven't felt like that in a while. I love it.

I had another lazy workout /busy at work week.
Monday: nothing
Tuesday: nothing
Wednesday: nothing
Thursday: Gym, but I'll edit this later when I'm not at work
Friday: I will go to TKD

It is official, I am going to TKD sparring competition next week. I am super nervous right now, but I'm going to try it out and see what it is like, so maybe thinking that will make me feel more relaxed.

Here is another huge update to my journal.

All this week Iíve been teaching spring camp, so I havenít done anything at the gym.

Last week:
Sat 4/8 Riding lesson with my dressage trainer. I was very sore again, mostly in my abs and middle to upper back, which tells me that that I am finally doing it right and that the $$$ I am spending on this trainer is not going to waste :)

Sun 4/9 taught riding lessons all day. I had all 8 of my students so there was a lot of walking. At the end I did get on a horse and ride for about 15minutes, but I was too sore to make him do too much work.

This week:

Mon 4/10 Spring camp from 9-3pm, a lot of walking and entertaining the kids. Rode 1 horse for 15minutes. Oh I also went to see the grand national rodeo for the first time. It was fun, I think Iíll go again next year.

Tue 4/11 Camp during the day, then TKD at night. The usual brutal workout of kicking, jumping, bouncing, etcÖ..

Wed 4/12 Camp, TKD. My studio is now teaching yunmudo (Korean combined training) on wed night instead of TKD. On Wed we learned how to fall, throw and choke, then our master spent the next 15minutes torturing us with situps and pushups and similar stuff. The new master is really good.

Thurs 4/13 Camp, rode 1 horse for 30min, then bellydancing. Since it has been 2 months since Iíve last done it my low back was very sore for the next few days.

Fri 4/14 camp, then sparring night at TKD.

Sat 4/15 sparring competition. It was fun, but I had my a$$ kicked in no time. On the plus side at least now I know how I compare to some other girls and what kind of stuff I should work on. Just give me time and Iíll kick someone elseís a$$ next time :P

eventhough I did horrible I feel really good about the fight and I can't wait to go to my sparring class on friday.

the last 2 weeks have been crazy. I've been doing another part time (think 8hrs at night) job at my acct office where i used to work soem time ago. Because it is tax time is super crazy but today is the last day so after midnight tonight I'm FREE!

monday-work
tuesday-didnt' hear my alarm, so I slept right through my session with a trainer.
Wed- TKD, lots of rolling, wrestling and the like. Afterwards went to see my horse and "introduced" him to a flashlight.

I can't wait for saturday when i go riding

TTT it looks like the grip test isn't going any better because I managed to injure my left hand yesterday.

I was riding a horse yesterday that had other ideas and she tried to buck me off or pull me off of her for half the lesson and in the mean time I've managed to tear muscle/ligament in my hand and fingers. I didnít even feel the pain until I took off my tight gloves, and then everything turned blue and swelled. Today I went to see the doc, just in case, and she said rest, ice and Advil. Of course I have perfect timing because I have a TKD competition coming up in 2 weeks, and now is the time to train harder not take it easy on my hand. But I hope it will be all good next week.

Since I havenít been posting on here in a while, Iíll summarize my activities:
Gym 2x a week
TKD 3x a week (extra long training because of up coming competition)
Bellydance 1x a week

Ok Iím going to quit typing now, because it hurts.
