This should probably be a PM to Built, however I think others may be interested in the answer.

My question is: During a cut I know that you are supposed to reduce cals by 10-20% (~500). Can you only cut, say 200, and do the stationary bike at the gym until 300 calories have been burnt off? Will this achieve the same result?

i suppose it would... however you would have to do it
every day. whichc kind of sucks becuase after a leg day... i can barely walk, let alone bike

Dropping cals by 10-20% can either be done by eating less, or burning more.
