I signed up with wannabe about a year ago, and have been coming on every now and then looking up information and whatnot. anyways, I am 5'9 180lbs. I am an athletic build, meaning i am not some fatass, i am a swimmer and am an very good condition, however, I do have a little excess fat that i would like to take off on my upperbody (waist/chest). But, I also want to be gaining muscle at the same time.
To make a long story short, I am taking Thermocin to loose fat, NOX3 to help me gain muscle, and then ill switch it up with muscle milk or pro complex to give me more protien... I don't know if taking all these supplements is good for me/effective?? Should I concentrate on one area at a time, or does this method seem to be okay?

Well, considering I am in college, it is pretty good.. I eat a lot of vegetables, like salad and corn.. I try and only have a coke one or two times a week, other than that water or milk. I eat healthy cereals, and I try and stay away from things with a lot of grease, like pizza and french fries. However, I will have the occasional slip up with candy and hamburgers.. But like I said, I am in college, and it is tough to loose weight with the beer and all that, but I do get a good swim in 2 or 3 times a week, plus weights 3 times a week..

How often do you drink that it would hinder you being on a diet?

Not often... probably once or twice a week at the most... but when i drink, i drink to get drunk, so its not like 1 beer/shot. Im cutting beer anyways.. Just hard liquor, and i won't have more than 8 shots.

Ok, well it is somewhat difficult and a bit inefficient to try and cut and gain lean mass at the same time. Thinking that you can just throw in a supplement meant for cutting and a supplement meant for bulking will help you achieve that is not the mentality you want to fall into. You need to manipulate your diet and fine tune your routine.
In the end, you probably wouldn't be gaining as much mass or cutting as much fat as you would if you concentrated on one or the other.
