Im about to get another load of protein shakes and i wanted to just ask the people who have actually tried both kinds to tell me which they think taste better. Both seem to have pretty much the same ingredients so im expecting the same results but what about taste and mixability and all. they are also around the same price. so has anyone tried both of these products and have an opinion on which they prefered?

thankyou

You can ask Chris Mason to send you a (IMO generous) sample so you can make your own decision.

Optimum Nutrition 100% WHEY Gold Standard is whey protein only.

Nitrean is a blend of whey, casein, and egg albumen.

Taste wise, I liked Nitrean better. It mixed a little better as well. ON protein is slightly cheaper, though. Nitrean is more expensive due to the fact that it is a protein blend.

eh its only about 5$ more i dont really care, if it tastes better ill pay more. good reviews from both products though. so does making it have whey, casien, and egg make it superior? or better for strength or mass building?

Nitrean is better imo. Better ingedients. Taste wise, both are great. I dont prefer one over the other. I usually keep buying one untill the taste gets old to me, then I switch it up for a while.

What, Chris sends samples now?! Long ago they asked if people would consider buying stuff (I think it was on here, before they even really started the company). I suggested sampling would help seeing as how I'm in eastern canada and with credit card/shipping it almost wasn't worth my while unless the taste knocked my socks off. I want a sample damnit! lol

They are two different products.

Nitrean is blend. better lasting for during the day.

ON Whey is just whey. better pre post work outs. digest more quickly.

about 15 dollars differense in price?

I may appear to always bash a blend cause you can make whey a blend by mixing in milk, but I'll cave probably soon and try nitrean out.

Technically, yes, it is the better quality product.
