I recently started taking vitamin c daily, because I thought i was getting sick. Well once i started taking it, I noticed that my leg doms was dramatically reduced. Is this just a coincidence, or does vitamin c help doms?

Hmmmm... that's interesting. It is an antioxidant - I take it right before I train to counter free radical damage from the training I'm about to do.

Or at least, that's what I tell myself I'm taking it for.

I take it after because it supposedly loweres plasma levels of cortisol.

Taking it before makes alot more sense though. I'm'a have to start doing that.

Built...how much do u take before? i usually take some in the morning with breakfast and late at night with my other vits...

My HS gym teacher used to promote eating acidic fruits high in vitamin C such as oranges, pineapples, etc. to relieve DOMS. I never really shook a stick at it though :windup:
