How do you have the carbs, protein and fats worked out if you don't have the calories worked out?

how did you decide on 6,000 kcals. How many cals are you currently eating?

If you want to put on that much weight that fast, it's probably not going to be the good kind of weight. That's why people usually recommend increasing your cals by 500 above maintenance and see how you gain. Then if that's not enough, maybe increase some more. Adding an additional 2000 calories right away just doesn't sound like it will put on the right type of weight. Then again, I could be wrong.

edit: I read your post again, and I was thinking you said less time. 20 lbs in like 4-5 months doesn't seem too unreasonable depending on how fast you put on weight, but it would be safer just to add 500 initially and see how your weight improves with that.

Why do you need to be 200 by June?

there is a difference between putting on weight and putting on good weight. Don't rush your bulk or you'll just have more fat to take off at the end. Go up to 4500, and then bump it up as necessary.

Good post. I am the same weight and I have put fat on a fairly clean bulk of 4800 or less.

eat everything in sight...6,000 cals is like a blank canvas, and food is your paint, so "paint" away...
