Well a year has passed and I felt the need to post some pictures to compare my progress from last year. If you are interested in how I looked a 11 months ago, feel free to check out my history of posts. My goal for the summer is 180lbs. But my fast metabolism is having it's toll. I am more concerned on lean mass than anything, and maintaining my abs. Feel free to give feedback or criticism.

AGE - 22
Status - Lean Mass
Height - 5'9
Weight - 170lbs

Here is my routine:

Monday - Chest/Triceps
Tuesday - Legs/Abe
Wednesday - Off
Thursday - Back/Forearms
Friday - Shoulders/Biceps
Saturday - Cardio
Sunday - Off

Currently on Meta-Cel and Whey Protein

You look bigger than 170. A lean 180lbs is a very achievable goal by summer. Arms look like a strong point, how big do they measure?

Thanks for the feedback, I'd have to disagree with you on the back and abs. My back is pretty solid...

I have never really attempted max outs. I usually just do three sets, with the first two sets of 8-10, with my last set being 6 reps of intense weight. I'm sure if I just did a max you could add on another 75lbs to each.

Bench - 190lbs
Barbell Squats: 285lbs
Seated Dumbell press - 150lbs
Bent Over Barbell Row - 195lbs

Measured arms today, came in at 15". Funny thing is I am 5 lbs heavier than a year ago. My metabolism is so high, I find it tough to reach my goals in terms of weight. 175lbs is realistic by summer. Might try a weight gainer...

Looking good man. Arms and back definitely seem to be your strong points to me. If you're not gaining weight it'd probably be a good time to start counting calories and increase from there. Any one can gain weight if they're eating enough food.

BTW: LOL at the leg pic. Take a look at the background and tell me what it looks like he was doing.

Maybe you just don't know how to flex em, but from that pic it looks like the lats are really small! Other than that, traps, spine erectors, legs, chest, arms, shoulders, etc all look good. Keep it up, but do more pullups!

How can you tell it's a weak point. I always though my back is pretty solid, but it's good to here feedback. I'd like to know what you think is lagging. Extended pull-ups and bent over barbell I really laim for huge gains. I like to think I'm terrorizing it...Starting to be one of my favs at the gym.

I think its mostly the pose that doesn't show your lats that great. Try taking a few more pics, work on your pose. Take a pic of a lat spread. Otherwise, if they really are lagging, just keep doing pullups, bent over rows, eatting and deadlifting, they'll grow. The rest of your back looks great.

As far as weight goes, anyone can gain 10 pounds in a few months regardless of metabolism. You just have to eat above maintainance. I think you could easily gain 10 pounds before summer and maintain your body fat.

I disagree with his back being a weak point. Don't pinch your shoulder blades together, open the back up. You back looks like it would have a good v-taper to me. Needs some thickness.

If your ultimate goal is lean and muscular. It will take some extra time to ever get real size if you worry too much about losing your abs. Girls liked Jared before the diet.

I still say his back looks solid. It doesn't even seem like he's flexing his lats. As cphafner said, I think there's a good v-taper there with a proper pose, especially since your waist is pretty small.

I still think the back development could use some work. Looking great though man.
