View Full Version : Help me with Max-Day warm-ups
Hey all, we're maxing next week for football and i would like to know how you all warm up to get ready to max on a lift? usually for bench i just do 135x3-5 but i dont know what else to do, and for squat i do 135x10 or so... but theres gotta be a better way. anyone wanna help me out here? thanks! :P
For bench, you should start with the bar for 10, then go 3x95 3x135 1x155 1x185 then max.
For Squat: pretty much the same, but I would add 1x225
thanks man, should i do each one really fast or should i wait after i do it or break in between?
Do your warmups with the same form you would for your max. Move the weight fast. Take a couple of minutes between each set.
