I tried doing some searching but couldnt find an answer... Anyway, I started my EC stack last week... So far I am just taking two 25mg/200mg stacks per day. I know one effect of ephedrine is that it suppresses your appetite.. it does mine a lot. I guess this is ok to an extent, but I am just not hungry!! How do I know if I am flat out not getting enough food? I bet I ate around 1700 cals today...that is with forcing myself to eat dinner after I had my Nitrean. Any thoughts? Is then when I should just be eating scoopfulls of PB?? :D

That is the reason I do not use Ephedra... It is hard to explain what it does. But after you go off of it you have immense hunger pains and tend to eat everything in site, at least that is how it worked with me both times I used it.

Track your cals, and eat 10-15% below maintence. If you aren't tracking your cals, then your not serious about what your doing. There is no "I think I ate 1700 cals". If you want to cut properly then do it properly.

Well I stopped tracking on a daily basis because during the week I eat the same thing daily...I know its boring, but its just easiest. I guess I will start tracking again if its that important. Even when tracking I am not sure what 10-15% below maintanance would be... Maintanance wouldnt be what I was eating before I started the program...that was putting on the lbs... Before I started my program (lifting and eating right) my eating was sporadic. Maybe 3000 cals one day....then 5000 another.

Figure out what you maintain at, then go from there. Based on your bodyweight you can get a general range, and go from there. Maybe start at 2500 cals a day for 2 weeks, and see if you go down or not. If you stary the same then drop to 2200. If you drop too much add some. If you gain weight, then it sucks to be you. :)

THat would suck for sure.. Anyway, so with the ephedrine you just have to fource yourself to eat, huh? Well, let me clarify, that is if you havent met your cals for the day....

Don't have to force yourself. Cut back on the E if its that drastic on you. It completely depends on the diet you want to do. If you want to try a PSMF and go low cal, but it all depends on what your body likes, and what you want to do.

Well, not to be too simplistic, but I want to lose as much weight as possible....as fast as possible....while staying healthy....doing it in a way that the weight will stay off. Thanks for your advise.... I know you have had great success!

Well, how concerned are you with losing LBM? If your goal is just to lose weight as fast as possible, then do a PSMF type diet. Read the ALN thread in thier forum. If you have the willpower and lack of hunger to take in nothing but 1000 calories of nitrean a day, then go for it.

Well.... I dont want to lose the LBM that I do have. I am 6 weeks into WBB1 (I think you saw my other post stating that I am starting builts BGB next week) and I want to continue to get stronger. Will a crash diet like this keep me from getting stronger? I dont know the specifics of how your body processes food (or lack thereof), but it seems like the fat should be the first to go, correct? I should easily be around 190-195....currently 255. I guess if I continue to eat "clean" and lift hard I should be ok, but I am the type of person that likes to research the "best" way!

I'm under the impression muscle is usually the first to go on a crash diet. The body drops muscle to prolong life expectation for the anticipated famine.
But if you can keep lifting heavy, you'll protect your LBM, and your appetite will return shortly - if you're anything like me at least!

Try eating before you take your Nitrean. Real food is better than supplements. For example, you get more protein from a chicken breast than you do in a serving of protein powder. So, hopefully, you won't forgo some much needed nutrition by not being that hungry after your shake.
Remember, supplements are just that: they supplement a proper diet, not replace it.
