View Full Version : My new eating plan...

I have decided to change things up a bit in the nutrition field... I am not seeing the results that I thought I would previously...

So starting tomorrow I will be doing 1600-1700 calories a day... 1.5 x LBM for protein... .5 x LBM for fat and then finishing it up with carbs on my lifting days which normally works out to 110 carbs... On non lifting days I do a little more protein and cut down the carbs to around 60 carbs on non-lifting days...

My weight is roughly 178 with 131lbs for LBM...

Any suggestions? Thoughts? I have been doing 1900 calories with a 40/30/30macro... P/C/F... I gained a little but think it was just extra water and not fat... gaining a little means about 2lbs over the last two weeks... Should I have stuck with 1900 calories or go on to what I am going to do?

if your weight went up then lowering the cals a bit sounds like a good idea. If you want to eat 1900 cals then up your activity level. When i got stuck I added HIIT on my off day and started riding my bike more.

Thanks... I was doing 3 days of HIIT and 3 days of steady state and one day off... Maybe I should have done 4 days of HIIT and 2 days of SS...

Diet plan sounds good. HIIT no more than twice a week though, k?

That is fine with me... I hate HIIT... LOL I am starting my 5K training tomorrow so hopefully that will take care of the cardio... That is 3 times a week...
