Yep

Track your calories now, average a week, then add an extra 500 to this to gain.

muscletech.com has some good calculators...go on their website and use those. Just dont buy anything they try to sell...

Overpriced junk...

Those calculators are pretty worthless because everyone's body is different.

Listen to Built and Sidior and use fitday to figure it out yourself.

track on fitday for a couple of weeks, if you gained weight eat less, if you lost weight eat more. no calculations, pretty simple

I was eating between 2500 and 3000 calories and maintaining at your body weight and roughly the same height, I'm an inch shorter. I was *slowly* losing fat at both but making better strength gains at 3000.

Estimate...just like me saying multiply your bodyweight by 2006 is an estimate. You can use it as a starting point, but in the end, you'll most likely make some adjustments based on what is happening to your body. There's no universal equation, you just have to play with how much you're eating until you get it right.

probably has more to do with your activity level

I doubt it, I play either basketball or football at least 3 times a week, do some cardio at the gym, and I'm in college with no car so I basically walk everywhere, I just have a slow metabolsim I guess.

I averaged my fitday and i came up with 3217 cal average. and i'm a steady 184 all week.

^^ thats a fair bit of food IMO. i think i'm going to try adding an extra protein shake every evening. I know my workout is currently very vigorous...so maybe a lil more cals, protein and good fat and i'll once again put on some mass.

I'll be looking at taking some creatine again as well in about 2-3 weeks or so.

i need someone to not eat all this food for me while i'm cutting. That'd be pretty cool.
