Are these types of sport drinks good for you? I heard recently that you should only drink them when playing sports and not when your just sitting around the house; because of the electro-lights?

Besides protein shakes what do you guys drink alot of for whatever reason? because vitamins? what drink do you think is the best for you?

i drink gatorade during my workout , i buy the powdered one and mix with water.

gatorade is an okay source for electrolytes but it is packed with sugar and basically empty cals.

I get the little 18 oz ones that have like 14g carbs in them and I add a little corn sugar w/ water and drink it while I play sports. I only do this while if I'm playing an intense sport but besides that I drink 64oz+ of water each day because I like to go pee.

I drink dextrose and cal free coolaid before my workout. EXPLOSIVE!!!

I also add dextrose to my protein shake after my workout.

you know, I thought about trying that but did not know if it would taste good. I am off to the store to get some.

I might get some oatmeal too. it seems a favorite of bodybuilders.

I say drink water, take a multivitamin, and if you feel like wasting your money on Gatorade go right the hell ahead. You could better spend that money on dextrose.
