View Full Version : Hungry? Break your max cals or take the hit?

So for a few nights now I've been getting to 11pm and realizing I get hunger pains in my stomach. The pains from the lower left that tell one it is indeed hunger.

I then realize that I have hit my max cals for the day. (ON a bulk)

So what is more beneficial for muscle growth? (Assuming I dont have lettuce or carrots etc to fill on with 0 cals)

To break that cal max and eat till sufficently full


Go to bed hungry and eat hard in the morning?

Plan your food choices/timings better.
Try dropping some carbs and add some more fats.
Eat more vegies.
Drink a ****load of water/diet soda.
Sill-um husk in water at night is good.

you have a max calorie level on your bulk?

Go to bed hungry? Your not about to eat for 6 to 8 hours, the LAST thing you wanna do is go to bed hungry. Remember, growth takes place when our bodies at rest. Read up on how sleep is very catabolic.
