I know it is recomended that you eat a protein-heavy breakfast, but is anything wrong with having a high-carb breakfast, like a bagel with peanut butter?
(btw, i just bought some real, natty pb. it is so much better tahn peter pan)

i would say anything when you get up is good. I eat whatever sounds good.

Carbs are a good choice first thing in the morning as hepatic glycogen levels are largely depleted after a night's sleep.

If you are cutting however then I would recommend you do get some more protein in there for help with hunger management.
